The Faster Than Normal Book launches October 3rd, and we're so excited!! Head over to Amazon now and pre-order a copy, and you'll get a bunch of goodies included if you email your receipt to ftnreceipt at shankman.com - Let's see it! We're already #1 in multiple categories on Amazon, and the book isn't even out yet!

Welcome to episode 70, the productivity episode! Who couldn't use some extra time in their life? Our guest today shows us how to get it, without drama, without giving up the things that are already important to us!

Laura Vanderkam is the author of several time management and productivity books, including I Know How She Does It, What the Most Successful People Do Before Breakfast, and 168 Hours. Her next book, Off the Clock: The Fine Art of Feeling Less Busy While Getting More Done, will be published by Penguin Random House in May, 2018. Her work has appeared in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, Fast Company, Fortune, and other publications, and her TED Talk, "How to gain control of your free time," has been viewed more than 4.7 million times. She's pretty awesome.

You'll like this quick episode - Laura gives us her top three productivity tips, and a host of other hacks to make your time more useful than ever before. For the ADHD brain, this is solid gold.

Enjoy! As always, if you have a second, head over to iTunes and leave us a review, ok? Those reviews help keep the podcast going!

Say hey to DJ John Michael! He's the official DJ in Residence at Peloton Cycle (now known as OnePeloton,) he's trained under Junior Vasquez, and knows more 80s trivia than you do. This isn't assumption, this is fact.

DJ John Michael gives us 30+ minutes of over the top interview, on topics as wide-ranging as music as a calming influence, "taking back your brain" from the background processes, and somehow, we wound up also touching on the 80s TV Show "The Facts of Life," as well as Game of Thrones, the best dance mixes, and of course, Broadway.

There's never been a more ADHD-centric interview in the history of the FTN Podcast!

You're going to love this one. I've listened to it three times already, and I was there when we recorded it!

Enjoy!

First off - GREAT NEWS: The Faster Than Normal Book goes live in less than a month! Won't you help support the launch by sharing this Thunderclap with your social channels? The more people who share it, the more we can help the world realize that ADHD is a GIFT, not a curse! From the bottom of my heart, thank you!

Welcome to another episode of Faster Than Normal! We've skipped a few weeks in August, because we were getting the Faster Than Normal BOOK ready for an October 3rd launch date! We couldn't be happier with how it turned out, and we hope you'll love it, too!

But back to the podcast! We kick September off with the back-to-school episode, in the respect that I met this week's guest last year, on the first day of preschool for my daughter. Within thirty seconds, we both bonded and there was no question we were both ADHD.

Ken Perlstein is an actor and comedian, working in NYC. He's also massively ADHD. He talks openly and honestly on this episode, covering all topics, including addiction, sobriety, ADHD, and heck, he even does an impersonation and cracks a joke or two.

You're going to like this one. We're glad you're here!
