The Faster Than Normal Video Course is out! 36 videos to teach you how to take back control of your attention, your time, and your life! Check it out here

This week's guest is Preston Bealle. Preston was one of the last bosses I ever had before I went out on my own back in 1998. He taught me much - specifically, he taught me to be a generalist. It never occurred to me that doing so is exactly what allows many of us to master our ADHD.

Preston touches on some very scary topics in this interview, including feeling like a fraud, failures, and raising kids. He also talks about life rules and doing work that excites you.

If you've ever felt like you're not doing the right thing in your life, this is one FTN that you don't want to miss!

In this episode, Peter and Preston discuss:

  • Preston's back story (02:47)
  • ADHD and formal education (03:44)
  • Work that excites you (05:55)
  • Feeling like a fraud (08:01)
  • Be a generalist (09:54)
  • Being a boss (12:18)
  • Failures (14:19)
  • Contact with customers (15:54)
  • Raising kids (16:32)
  • Life rules (19:21)

Her basic premise here is that pills don't teach skills, and medication, while not bad, isn't for everyone, and certainly shouldn't be a first line of defense. Take a listen. I'm thrilled with this interview.
